The Free Fire Asia Championship held in November 2021 was a regional event that replaced the Free Fire World Series. Geek Events managed the broadcast in three different languages, namely English, Bahasa Malaysia and Tagalog. We were also responsible for the team administration in Malaysia.
The Asia Championship was the league that replaced the World Series with a total prize pool of $400,000 USD. 24 teams made it into the playoffs, and these teams were split into 2 groups of 12. Top 2 teams from each group and the best 3rd placed team overall made it into the grand finals. Apart from these teams that qualified from playoffs, there were another 7 teams directly invited to the grand finals stage.
HQ Esports achieved 1st place, with GPX Esports coming in 2nd, CGGG in 3rd and Heavy in 4th.
