The PUBG Mobile DEW Challenge 2020/2021 was one of the biggest amateur PUBG Mobile tournaments in Malaysia and Singapore. Geek Events conceptualized the idea of having the code printed on the inside of the bottle cap, and this code was what participants needed to register for the tournament. This tournament drew over 2,048 teams from all across Malaysia and Singapore and ended with a bang on 29th January 2021. This was the weekend where Geek Events also handled MCP Majors Season 1 and Malaysia Esports Championship 2020/2021 concurrently.
These 2,048 teams were split into 128 groups of 16 teams, where they battled it out to fight for the Top 4 team spots and advance to the Semi-Finals stage. From there, the 64 teams would split up into 4 groups of 16 and battle it out again for the Top 4 team spots to advance to the Grand Finals. A total prize pool of RM200,000 was split to the Top 10 placements, with EDSK Reviens coming in 1st, TG Ares in 2nd and DAG Delta in 3rd.
