Geek Events Wins Prestigious “Agency of the Year” Award

We are proud to announce that we have won two Bronze Awards in the esteemed “Agency of the Year” competition: “Experiential Marketing Agency of the Year” and “Agency Leader of the Year” for our founder, Lim Keat Kuang! In addition, we were shortlisted as finalists in several other categories:

This recognition highlights our commitment to innovation, excellence, and outstanding service in the industry. The “Agency of the Year” award is one of the most prestigious honors, celebrating agencies that demonstrate exceptional creativity, effectiveness, and impact. Winning this award and being named a finalist among the elite agencies recognized for their outstanding contributions and achievements over the past year is a great honor. This honor is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire team. Our success is driven by the collective efforts of our talented team who consistently push the boundaries of creativity and innovation. We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to our clients and partners for their unwavering support and collaboration.

Over the span of two months, from November 2023 to December 2023, we organized a nationwide esports event called “Dew Challenge 2023” with a total cash and prize pool worth up to RM500,000. The event took place across four regions in Malaysia, featuring PUBG Mobile as the main game. On the Grand Finale day, we also broke two Guinness World Records. Participants competed in a PUBG Mobile tournament followed by a paintball battle against other teams. This event pushed us to our limits, requiring us to secure venues and vendors in all four regions, plan and distribute printed marketing collateral around the venues, and apply for event licenses in a very short time. Despite the challenges, we made the impossible happen through hard work and smart planning. Our team often stayed on-site until the early morning, with a call time of 7am the same day, setting up tournament venues, placing marketing materials, and conducting rehearsals on tournament days.
