The Esports Industry Conference 2021 was the inaugural conference event brought to you by Malaysia’s Ministry of Youth and Sports, Esports Integrated (ESI), Alhamra Games, and Geek Events. The conference ran for four days, featuring over 40 speakers from around the world, including Malaysia, Singapore, Brazil, the United Kingdom, Ukraine, and more. EIC 2021 marked the first of a series of conferences planned by ESI, leading towards a large-scale summit attracting regional speakers and attendees.
The conference was free for all interested participants and provided insight and first-hand knowledge on the esports industry. This was also a two-part conference that included EIC Play, and had a tournament for Garena Free Fire. Geek Events was the main event organiser of the conference, arranging speakers, participants and key sessions.
