The Malaysia Esports Championship 2020/2021 is the inaugural tournament brought to you by Malaysia’s Ministry of Youth and Sports, Esports Integrated (ESI), Alhamra Games and Geek Events. This event saw four popular game titles in Malaysia being played, namely Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, PUBG Mobile, DOTA2 and FIFA21. MEC 2020/2021 saw over 11,000 registrations and over 1.6 million viewers. It is a testament to ESI’s ongoing efforts to drive growth and diversity in the local esports community and as platform to drive the local esports market industry.
