Malaysia Esports Championship 2021/2022 预选赛和季后赛于 2021 年 12 月正式拉开帷幕，而总决赛也于 2022 年 1 月 7 日至 9 日在 KL Gateway Mall 举行，并且圆满落幕！此次的游戏比赛就包括有FIFA 22、Dota 2、Mobile Legends: Bang Ban和 PUBG Mobile！
MEC 2021/2022 开幕式于 2022 年 1 月 7 日举行，由青年和体育部副部长YB Senator Dato’ Sri Ti Lian Ker和 Esports Integrated (ESI) 首席执行官 Ahmed Faris Amir 先生主持。此次电竞赛事就超过了10,000名玩家注册和总计 200 万的观看次数，粉丝们能够通过 ESI – Esports Integrated 的 Facebook 页面和 YouTube 频道上的直播来收看MEC 2021/2022 的最后几轮比赛。
总决赛于 1 月 7 日开打，由 FAVLAIN 玩家在 FIFA 22 赛事和 ATLANTIS 战队在 Dota 2 赛事中获得总冠军。然后于 1 月 8 日，由 HOMEBOIS 战队获得 Mobile Legends: Bang Bang 赛事总冠军，同时其战队和季军RSG战队将获得MPL第9赛季的参赛名额，而亚军和殿軍战队MIKEY和CARACAL将参加MPL第9赛季8强资格赛。
至于最后一天 1 月 9 日举办的 PUBG Mobile 赛事，由 D3V SILENCE 战队获得总冠军，也成功获得进入 PUBG Mobile 职业联赛 (PMPL) 第 5 季预选决赛。这次的 MEC 2021/2022 总奖金池高达 RM100,000，4款游戏奖金平分如下：
